How it works

1. 1Choose your problem areas. Friends, work, family, dating, and more. The app builds your plan around the scenarios you struggle with.
2. 2Recognize people pleasing behavior. Every scenario starts with examples of people pleasing so you can spot it before you do it.
3. 3Practice what to say instead. Choose from three options of increasing assertiveness. Say the one out loud that fits you best.
4. 4Work on conversations you're putting off. Write down something that needs to be said and what to say. Practice saying it until you have the conversation.

Is this therapy?

No. It's practice. Therapy helps you understand why you do things. This helps you stop doing them by giving you the vocab and muscle memory necessary to form new habits.

Do I have to say things out loud?

Yes! Reading alone won't break the habit. Your mouth has to develop the muscle memory too.

Do I have to practice consistently?

Yes. Habits change through repetition. That’s why the app gives you a few minutes of practice every day and a reminder to do it.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Cancel anytime in your App Store settings. If you cancel during the 7-day trial, you won’t be charged.

What is the difference between the app and the cards?

The app has the same content, just more of it, along with notifications to keep you consistent and some other features.
